We want not just to build and strengthen the faith and well-being of local young people and children but also to build faith, fellowship and community across all the generations in our church and community – from youngest to oldest - enabling us through Christ to welcome, care for, love and value all.
The Generate Project is set up to achieve this, and encompasses all of our ministry to children, young people and families both in church and in the wider community.
The purpose of the Project is to seek the peace and wellbeing of the Children and Youth of our community by bringing the Good News of Christ among them.
Jeremiah 29 v7. “And work for the peace and prosperity of the city where I sent you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, for its welfare will determine your welfare.”
Central to the Project are the aims to:
• encourage exploration of matters of life issues and faith.
• support the development of faith
• encourage the practice of faith by establishing regular patterns and habits of faith practice .
• nurture the whole person, ensuring their well-being.
• enable young people to build and grow a meaningful faith which will stay with them as their lives develop beyond school.
