The Church of Scotland

We are a congregation of the Church of Scotland. This means that we cover a given geographical area within Stonehaven. This is called a Parish.

The Kirk Session is responsible for oversight of the life of our congregation, i.e it’s ministry and mission.  The Kirk Session is made up of members of the church who are called to be Elders, along with the minister.  The Kirk Session includes various office bearers for our congregation, for example the Session Clerk, and the church Treasurer, among others

Fetteresso church is part of the Presbytery of the North East and Northern Isles  A Presbytery is a grouping of congregations (and Parishes) that come together to meet for oversight and governance of a wider area. Our Presbytery includes Aberdeenshire, Aberdeen city, Orkney and Shetland.
